Mastoloni & Cultured Pearl Association History

Mastoloni Pearls is one of North America's leading purveyors of the finest cultured pearls. It is a three generation business, an American success story that began over 80 years ago in New York City. The Mastoloni Family was among the first to offer North America cultured pearls that were just becoming available in Japan and the South Pacific. With their in depth knowledge of cultured pearls, Mastoloni was one of the original founders of the Cultured Pearl Association of America in 1957.

First CPAA Meeting-1959

The Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA) is a nonprofit group. It is compromised of the finest manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, dealers and suppliers of Cultured Pearls in the United States. The goal of the CPAA is to create an awareness of Cultured Pearls and to educate the retail community. The CPAA aims to inspire an authentic passion for all Cultured Pearl varieties. The Mastoloni family had a huge part in creating this Association and is still an important part of it today.
