Fashion Group International of Los Angeles started the Los Angeles fashion season with a stunning fashion event “Meet The Designer & The Muse That Inspires Them.” According to the Fgila.org website, more than 45 of the top Los Angeles fashion designers gathered to share their talents and most beautiful designs with the standing-room only crowd. It was a star studded event including Natalie Cole, Vanessa Williams and many others who love fashion and Los Angeles.

An event favorite was designer Oliver Tolentino with a show stopping pineapple fabric design gown that went to the floor. According to the Examiner.com’s LA Women’s Style Examiner, This elegant and feminine dress was topped with fresh water pearls and had a great air of romance. Pearl lovers will especially appreciate this dress from Tolentino with an entire generous v-shaped neckline layered with radiant freshwater pearls. The pearls compliment the fabric so well and they shimmer and shine, just as the fabric does.
