As you know, pearls are usually mounted onto
a lot of jewelry types, from rings and earrings to bracelets and necklaces. In order to draw more attention to your pearl jewelry, you will need to know how to accessorize them with your outfit.
One general rule is that classy compliments classy. In other words, a tasteful outfit can easily and successfully be assorted with a set of chic pearl jewelry. A classy outfit can range from office wear to a wedding dress. No matter what the outfit may be, a string of pearls will compliment it nicely.
Another important rule is to keep it respectable and never over-exaggerate. Two different pieces of jewelry with one valuable pearl mounted will be more than enough to draw attention to your outfit. You do not have to wear pearl earrings, necklace, bracelet and a ring. Too many pearls could take the attention from you. Sometimes, even a single ring may be enough.
Also, mix classic models and color combinations to modern outfits. If you want to introduce a set of pearls into a modern outfit that breaks the “rules”, then the set must be unique and catchy. For this reason, you should either choose a very long pearl necklace in various tones or random pieces of jewelry with unusual mounts that will draw attention.
When it comes to the colors, you can apply the same rules as for anything else. You have to mostly use the same colors or complementary colors. Implementing pearls into your general look is a piece of cake.
