Summer is just around the corner. For pearl lovers this means lovely sunny days and feminine fashions to show off your pearls!
We’re sure you already wear your pearls many places – out to dinner with family or to that holiday celebration. But here are 5 unique places to wear your pearls this summer you might not have originally thought of….and a few places you probably should think twice about wearing them this summer. Why it’s exactly what we pearl lovers need…even more places to wear our wonderful pearls!

To take your child to summer camp. Whether your child is going to day camp or sleep away camp, why not get dressed up properly to show them off. Wear something dressy for daytime and add your pretty pearls to kiss them goodbye on that very first day!
Running errands about town. Even if you’re picking up the milk or dry cleaning, you can still look your best. Add your favorite pearls to that tennis dress or other daytime outfit. Somehow pearls make errands all the more interesting.
Regular book club meeting. We know you like attending your regular book club meeting, a time to talk about this month’s great read and get together with your gal pals to socialize. Why not wear your pearls and dress a little extra special? Your book club members will appreciate your effort.
Traveling for vacation. Whether you’re taking a day trip, cruise or an international flight, it just seems all the more fun when you wear your pearls. A big plus to wearing them: you don’t have to worry about packing them.
Family or neighborhood picnic. A great summertime tradition is a picnic…we bet you have at least one of these. Add a touch of elegance to yours by wearing your pearls. If picnicking alone with your husband it will make you feel even more romantic. If picnicking with neighbors and family you’ll be happy, feeling your pearls lustre with you.
Think twice about wearing your pearls to:
The beach or the pool. We all love our pearls but they don’t belong in sea or chlorine filled water. If you decide to take a dip in the water then you’ll be left with the chore of finding a good place to put them, not always an easy thing to do at a big beach or while on vacation.
The child’s playground. Playing with your child is one of the most fun things about summer. But one innocent hand reaching up that grabs to hold onto your pearls might tug too hard, damaging your pearl necklace.
Any place you are tempted to take it off. Summer is a time when we seem to change clothes often. Playing tennis, golf and other sports. Other activities like swimming. Vacations. Special events like weddings and graduations. Always remember to keep your pearls on or at least keep a container for your pearls if you decide to take them off somehow.
